Fourteen years ago, in the fall of 1997, a few hand-picked Clemson men began a part of Clemson University history known as TIGEROAR. Sporting orange blazers, and the famous "Tiger Rag" fight song, they were a hit from the start. From its humble beginnings of pumping up the local Clemson crowds with the Clemson fight song, to being hailed as the best live a cappella show of its kind, TIGEROAR has grown into an instuition at Clemson University and on the a cappella scene.

In the fall of 1997, a few handpicked men began a part of Clemson University history known as TIGEROAR. Sporting orange blazers, and singing the famous "Tiger Rag," is their trademark. From its humble beginnings of pumping up the local crowds with the Clemson fight song, to being hailed as having the best live a cappella show of its kind, TIGEROAR has grown into an institution at Clemson University and on the collegiate A Cappella scene. TIGEROAR performs a variety of musical genres around not only Clemson, but has also entertained audiences in San Francisco, New York, Boston, Chicago, Michigan, and our nation’s capital. TIGEROAR has professionally produced 7 albums. They have appeared twice on the Best of College A Cappella compilation CDs, received multiple CARA nominations, placed first in the 2004 SoJam competition, and placed second in the South in the 2004 ICCA competition! The gentlemen also perform two giant concerts in Clemson every year, and their spring show, TIGEROAR Live, is a perennial sell-out in Clemson's 1,000-seat Brooks Center. Even with all the success the group has achieved, the group still relies heavily on the path of tradition paved by its' alumni, and thankfully people still can't get enough of these Clemson men singing Songs that Shake the Southland!
COME AUDITION FOR TIGEROAR!!!! We are looking for guys in all voice parts. When: Audition times for the Spring semester will be posted shortly. Where: 117 Brooks Center Prepare a minute of a recognizable song of your choice. See you there!
